PURPOSE: An information recording medium including a zone transition area in which a wobble signal is recorded and a recording apparatus and method of the information recording medium are provided to smoothly carry out tracking and record additional information. CONSTITUTION: An information recording medium includes a plurality of zones and a zone transition area. The plurality of zones are divided according to circumferences of concentric circles. Tracks for recording user data are formed in the zones. The zone transition area forms the boundary between neighboring zones and records a single wobble signal with a single frequency. The zone transition area has a plurality of tracks in which the single wobble signal is recorded. The zone transition area has at least one groove track and at least one land track. The single wobble signal is recorded in the groove track or land track.
