The running wheel is designed for self-propelled machines. It has reduced side shifting of the contact spot between the tyre and the road at full use of the elastic sectors of the tyre to take up the loading simultaneously. It consists of a hub (1) with a metal wheel (2) fixed to it, to which wheel (2) the pneumatic tyre (3) is mounted. The projecting side surface (4) of the middle zone of the tyre (3) is in contact with side disks (5, 6) with central bushings (7, 8) which are axially resting on cross-bars (9, 10), fixed to one of the parts supporting the tyre (3) - metal wheel (2), or alternatively hub (1). The side disks (5, 6) have smaller diameters than that of the tyre (3) and in their periphery they have edges (11, 12) directed opposite to the direction of the tyre (3). 5 claims, 10 figures
