PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for servicing a home network based dynamic user interface are provided to offer a TV menu and a user manual using a dynamic HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language). CONSTITUTION: A tuner unit(40) tunes a broadcasting signal. A digital signal processing unit(50) processes image and voice signals of the tuned digital broadcasting signal. A display unit(60) outputs the processed image and voice signals. A microcomputer(70) controls a DTV(Digital TV), and controls the operation of a home network based dynamic HTML menu/manual. A communication unit(80) performs data communication with a PC(92) on the basis of a power line according to the control of the microcomputer(70), receives the dynamic HTML menu/manual, and outputs the received dynamic HTML menu/manual through the display unit(60). The PC(92) installs a web browser, an HTML document and an application program for operating the dynamic HTML menu/manual. |
