PURPOSE: A reflective transmission type LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a process by omitting a process for forming an insulation film of a step shape on a lower substrate and improve an image quality. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of gate wirings(102) are separately formed in parallel toward a direction of a substrate(100). A plurality of data wirings(116), which defines a pixel region(P) by crossing vertically to the gate wirings(102), are also formed separately. The pixel region(P) is defined as a reflective portion(B) and a transmissive portion(D). The reflective portion(B) and the transmissive portion(D) formed at every pixel region(P) are constructed toward a direction and thereafter a spacer wall(140) is formed at the boundary region of the reflective portion(B) and the transmissive portion(D). |
