A gas purifier comprises a tubular body (1), the internal wall of which has at least two helical deflectors (6A, 6B, 6C) which have a length less than one turn and are placed to cover each other partially at their ends. These form a compulsory baffle for the gas circulating in the upper part of the tubular body whatever the orientation of its axis. The gas purifier has a tubular body (1) with an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) at the ends containing filter components which are mainly granular filter materials (7). The body contains more than two deflectors, preferably three deflectors. The central helical deflector is longer than a half-turn. The helical deflectors are inclined at 30-60 degrees. The tubular body enclosing the filter components is made of transparent material.
