PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry cleaning solvent-based cleaner having high deacidifying performance and dehydrating performance. SOLUTION: The dry cleaning solvent-based cleaner consists mainly of a calcium silicate hydrate, wherein the calcium content of the cleaner is 40-70 mass% on a CaO basis. Alternatively, the dry cleaning solvent-based cleaner consists mainly of calcium silicate hydrate and contains≤40 mass% of calcium hydroxide, wherein the calcium content of the cleaner is 40-70 mass% on a CaO basis.
