<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell at low cost that is compact in size, and light in weight having a high power-generating performance which can be used at low temperatures. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell is made of a honeycomb structure consisting of a complex oxide expressed in: Ln<SB>1-X</SB>A<SB>X</SB>Ga<SB>1-Y-Z</SB>B<SB>Y</SB>C<SB>Y</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, (provided, Ln is at least one kind of elements selected from a group consisting of lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, gadolinium, and dysprosium, A is at least one kind of elements selected from a group consisting of strontium, calcium, and barium, B is at least one kind of elements selected from a group consisting of magnesium, aluminum, and indium, C is at least one kind of elements selected from a group consisting of iron, cobalt, nickel, and manganese, where, 0.05≤x≤0.4, 0.02≤y≤0.4, 0.1≤y+z≤0.45). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
