<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for adjusting a motor position of a motor, which does not require labor and trouble in adjusting the motor position and permits rapid adjustment of the motor position, and an optical disk system. <P>SOLUTION: The method for adjusting the motor position has a first step of obtaining a reproduced signal by reproducing an optical disk 15 for regulating the motor position having a plurality of mark regions 20 extending radially at a specified angle from the center and varying in the reflectivity of a light beam in the regions exclusive of these regions by using an optical pickup system 3. Also, the method has a second step of obtaining an output signal of the changeover timing of a signal level changing according to a rotating direction of the optical disk 15 for adjusting the motor position. Further, the method has a third step of determining the time difference for the changeover timing between the reproduced signal and the output signal. The method measures the time difference of the changeover timing respectively at arbitrary two points of the optical disk for adjustment and adjusts the motor position so as to eliminate the difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
