<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an inrush current flowing into an objective circuit of power saving when power is turned on. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a transistor 31 for turning off power source current supply to an objective circuit part 5 of power saving, and resistors 34 and 36 for limiting base current of the transistor 31. Output current from the transistor 31 being determined from the base current which is determined by the total resistance of the limiting resistors 34 and 36, and the DC current amplification factor of the transistor 31 is set not higher than a prescribed level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
