PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow recognition of the subsequent part of a digital picture-story show even its view is interrupted. SOLUTION: An E-mail transmission command is given to a contents server 11 when connection to a portal server 10 is made by means of a cellular phone 1. Data for a first frame of the digital picture-story show is transmitted via an E-mail to the cellular phone 1 from the contents server 11. For view of the following frame, the received E-mail is returned. Since a receipt history is left in the cellular phone 1, the number of viewed frames can be recognized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
