<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel reflecting material for a fluorescent lamp with little unevenness of illuminance when seen from outside and with a high overall illuminance when used for the fluorescent lamp installed in an electric illumination display device, which prevents discoloring of an advertising, information or the like on a display panel by cutting off ultraviolet rays emitted from the fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The reflecting material 1 for the fluorescent lamp A is installed in an electric illumination display device equipped with a display panel, and is provided with a half-mirror part 10 set at a correct opposition to the display panel, a side-face reflecting part 11 reflecting light emitted from a side face of the fluorescent lamp A in a direction of the display panel, and a skeleton back part 12 not cutting off light emitted in a direction contrary to the direction of the display panel.
