PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical unit wherein a wiring pattern on a circuit board can be sufficiently and evenly molded even in the case that a flexible board mounted with an electrical element in advance is electrically connected to the circuit board, to provide a method of manufacturing the same, and also to provide an electro-optical device and an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electro-optical unit wherein the flexible board is electrically connected to the circuit board which constitutes part of an electro-optical panel, or the like is provided. The flexible board is essentially belt-like, and is mounted with the electrical element on the front surface of at least either one end. There is a space formed between the flexible board and a part of the circuit board which corresponds to the electrical element mounted position of the flexible board.
