The heat sink (4.1) of the rectifier (2) is structurally separate from the alternator. A fan (6) is provided for the heat sink, which is mounted using a spacer sleeve connected to the plastic rectifier casing (7). The spacer sleeve is constructed as a connection point for the vehicle DC distribution system.
