<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a sheet treatment efficiency by eliminating the wasteful movement of a support member. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet post treatment device 300 comprises a downstream side intermediate loading part 300C having a pair of slide guides 301 and 302 supporting both end parts of a fed sheet and allowed to move close to and apart from each other and positioning the sheet S1 by pressing the sheet against one slide guide as a reference by the other slide guide, a treatment means applying treatment to the sheet positioned on the downstream side intermediate loading part, and a sheet loading part receiving the sheet falling through a clearance between the pair of slide guides separated from each other. The pair of slide guides comprise bottom pieces supporting the end part of the sheet and are characterized in that an interval between the bottom pieces is made larger on the upstream side than on the downstream side in the sheet carrying direction by the residual part 340 remaining after a part of the bottom piece of the other slide guide is cut out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
