PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus for an electro-optic device capable of enhancing the accuracy of the lamination position between substrates, and an electrical equipment provided with the electro-optic device. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the electro-optic device, sealing materials are first formed on the first substrate or the second substrate in a fore step (ST3). Then, while the first substrate and the second substrate are respectively held by a pair of substrate holding means, the lamination position of the substrates is adjusted (ST8). The first substrate and the second substrate are restrained in the state of adjusting the lamination position by the same substrate holding means and the sealing materials are cured in this state to fix the first substrate to the second substrate.
