<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically detecting Web page display failure, when it occurs and to provide a method for automatically restoring the failure. <P>SOLUTION: A customer terminal which uses a WWW browser to display a Web page, and a Web server having a Web page group are connected via a communication network. The occurrence of display failure, when a Web page is to be displayed, is detected by an event that the Web page is not displayed, even if a predetermined time has elapsed after a request for displaying the WEb page is transmitted, on detecting the display failure occurrence, a failure occurrence screen is displayed for a predetermined time, and then an initial screen is displayed, thereby restoring the Web page display failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
