PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding traveling route, enabling a driver free from preparing a traveling plan by searching a location of an energy replenishing station, saving driving hours, shortening running distance, and saving fuel consumption, and to realize guide on high-precision guiding route. SOLUTION: The navigation system is composed of a residual detecting means; a location detecting means; a traveling route searching means and a display means; a run distance calculating means; a fuel consumption calculating means; a determination means; and a searching means searches the energy replenishing station capable of arriving at, and makes the display means display its location superimposing on map information so as to guide the vehicle to the energy replenishing station; wherein the system is provided with a reference modifying means, which modifies the reference for determining whether arriving at the destination is possible, depending on the running conditions.
