摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery which has improved discharge properties. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery having improved discharge properties is obtained by incorporating a lithium-cobalt multiple oxide having an Ni content of &le;100 ppm, and expressed by chemical formula 1 as an anode active substance into an anode: in the chemical formula 1, M is one or more kinds of elements selected from transition metal elements other than Co and Ni, and the group 2, 13, 14 and 15 elements in the Periodic Table; N is a halogen atom; x satisfies 0.10&le;x&le;1.25; y satisfies 0&le;y&le;0.05; and z satisfies 0&le;z&le;0.05. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
