<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip capable of securing efficient drainage. <P>SOLUTION: An awning 2 is openably/closably provided on an automobile, and weather strips 13 are mounted along a front pillar and a windshield roof part. Water is guided in large quantity at the mold forming part corresponding to the corner part of the wather strips 13. A lip-like trough 35 is integrally formed so as to extend from an outer peripheral surface of the seal parts 34 of the mold forming part, and a lower receiving part of the trough 35 is to be a driving channel. The water guided into the trough 35 is guided to a hollow interior along the driving channel 51 through a communication hole. An inlet part 53 of the trough 35 is expandingly formed, and the opening of the inlet part 53 can be secured even if the stress from a door glass G is applied. A spacer to secure the driving channel is integrally formed in an inside surface of the trough 35. The efficient drainage can be obtained by these constitution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
