PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency isolating device which can be applied to a fluid loading/unloading apparatus with the same piping size as that having no emergency isolating device, has a simple structure, is easy to maintain and is inexpensive in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The emergency isolating device 7 includes open/close valves 22a and 22b removably joined; a clamp means 23 for separably coupling the valves 22a and 22b by a clamp member 37 coupled via a hinge mechanism; a locking means 24 for keeping the valves 22a 22b coupled and decoupling them by inserting/drawing out a coupling shaft 48 urged by a compression spring 50 into/from a coupling hole 43c of the clamp member 37; and a control means 25 for drawing out the coupling shaft 48 from the coupling hole 43c by a wire cable 54 having respective ends coupled with an inboard arm and the coupling shaft 48 of the locking means 24 to decouple the open/close valves 22a and 22b coupled by the clamp means 37 when an angle between the inboard arm and an outboard arm exceeds a marginal angle.
