PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a label, which enables a printed character string to be visually recognized when the label is stuck by being wound around a cable from any side and which enables the character string to be visually recognized from any direction of the outer periphery of the cable, by simple operations. SOLUTION: The linage of the character strings, which are to be printed on the cable label 11, is calculated (S730), and line spacing is calculated so that distances among the character strings corresponding to the calculated linage can be equal to one another (S740). A printing image, wherein the character string is turned at an angle of 90 degree counterclockwise along the width direction of a printed tape 10, is generated (S750). The printing images corresponding to the calculated linage are sequentially arranged (S760) and printed (S790), while securing the calculated line spacing (S780), so as to be arranged at the both ends of the cable label 11.
