INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM CARTRIDGE

A recording medium cartridge receives in a shell a disk, an inner rotor, and a shutter. The inner rotor has rotational force applied by a coil spring and keeps the shutter in a state where an opening portion provided in a shell is closed. When the recording medium cartridge is inserted in a disk device, a shutter opening mechanism provided in a disk recording/reproducing device rotates the inner rotor, opposing spring force of the coil spring, so that the shutter is moved to a position where the opening portion provided in the shell is opened. When the recording medium cartridge is discharged, spring force of the coil spring rotates the inner rotor to close the shutter.
