<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for capable of concentratedly monitoring a plurality of patient's electrocardiograms in a real-time manner. <P>SOLUTION: The electrocardiogram monitoring system 100 includes a portable electrocardiograph 10, a radio base station 20, a public circuit network 30, a TA (terminal adaptor) 40, a nosocomial computer 50 and a circuit L. The portable electrocardiograph 10 has an electrocardiogram measuring instrument, an acceleration measuring instrument and a communication device built therein. The electrocardiogram data and acceleration data obtained from the portable electrocardiograph 10 of each patient are transmitted to the radio base station 20 and subsequently transmitted to the nosocomial computer 50 from the radio base station 20 through the public circuit network 30, the circuit L and the TA 40. A plurality of patient's electrocardiograms and accelerations are displayed on the screen of the nosocomial computer 50 in a real-time manner on the basis of the electrocardiogram data and the acceleration data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
