PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture instrument of a novel structure which can prevent the exposure of a puncture body in a lancet element and achieve efficient puncture operation of a puncture body.SOLUTION: By providing an elastic engaging piece 122 extending to the outer peripheral side in a hub of a lancet 14 and engaging the elastic engaging piece 122 with a first engaging hole 142 which is opened at a peripheral wall of a protector 112, the hub is held in an initial position at the rear side. By attaching the lancet 14 to a housing, a release projection 30 of the housing enters into the first engaging hole 142. By releasing the engagement of the elastic engaging piece 122 and the first engaging hole 142, the hub is held in a puncture stand-by state. |
