PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerial cable and its internal corrosion control method capable of giving the aerial cable a longer life by controlling an internal corrosion of the aerial cable with a plurality of metal wires twisted together. SOLUTION: The aerial cable 4 with a plurality of aluminum conductive wires 2 twisted around a plurality of steel wires 3 twisted, is provided with spiral grooves 5a, 5b on the surface of each of the aluminum conductive wire 2 and the steel wire 3 along a longitudinal direction. Moisture enternig inside from a twisted part of the aerial cable 4 is released outside through the grooves 5a, 5b, so that the moisture retention is reduced and corrosion inside the aerial cable 4 is controlled.
