PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display character information and image information corresponding to header words by overlapping those information. SOLUTION: This electronic dictionary with an image display function is configured of a storage part for storing character information and image information corresponding to header words, an input part, a display part and a control part for reading out the character information and image information corresponding to the header words from the storage part, and for displaying the character information and image information on the display part by overlapping the image information with the character information when the header words are inputted from the input part.
