PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled type wrapping machine intended for improving operating efficiency without impairing roll bale quality. SOLUTION: The self-propelled type wrapping machine includes a wrapping device. The wrapping device is mounted on a traveling body which self-propelledly travels with the help of endless track vehicles set on both left and right sides and is equipped with a lifter based on a ring mechanism ascending/descending by a hydraulic cylinder on the upper surface side. Above the wrapping device, there are provided two parallel rolling rollers rotatingly driven in the same direction with horizontal axis, a platform having a plurality of endless belts arranged in parallel in the axial direction of these rolling rollers and spanned on them and turning about the longitudinal axis, a machine frame having a turning arm extended forward and nipping a roll bale and expandable upward, and a film feeder. In front of the wrapping machine, there is provided a vertically turnable load-receiving device having a divergent arm turnable about a vertically set pivotal shaft. The wrapping device and the load-receiving device are mounted liftably on the traveling body with the help of the lifter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
