The invention relates to an input device and a system for controlling an object that can be represented on a display. The aim of the invention is to facilitate a simple operation, even for complex control tasks. To achieve this, two actuating organs located at a distance from one another form rings that encircle a central section, the latter running through and projecting laterally beyond the actuating members.
