FIELD: agriculture, in particular, treatment of farm crop seeds by means of biological and chemical preparations. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding seed flow into treatment chamber; scattering flow of seeds in vertical plane and applying preparation on scattered seeds along perimeter thereof at its outer side; dividing seed flow into individual parts and directing seed flow parts contrary to one another to provide for seed collision. Apparatus has treatment chamber equipped with nozzles and feeding device made in the form of seed ejector. Scattering blades fixed on seed ejector trimmer are fitted with members for baffling seeds from blade rear side. Blades are arranged in inclined position relative to seed flow and their lower edges are made in the form of strips alternatively bent to opposite sides. Dozers-distributors are built-in between pair of opposite blades. Nozzles are arranged at an angle to horizontal plane so as to embrace seed flow along perimeter thereof.
