<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of reducing the burden of the installation work of a printer driver by a printer manager and a user and a personal computer-readable recording medium recording a program. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system comprises a personal computer 1 for creating printing data and a printer 2 for outputting the print data to a paper sheet, which is connected thereto through a network 3. The personal computer 1 has a custom printer driver installation program 4 and the printer has equipment information 5.
