PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism of a four-cycle engine that miniaturizes the engine and has high steering property without transferring the center of gravity forward. SOLUTION: The driving mechanism of the four-cycle engine is mounted to a snowmobile 1 and has an output shaft 71 reducing the rotation speed of a crankshaft 8 for driving. The output shaft 71 is disposed coaxially to the crankshaft 8, an intermediate shaft 72 having a driven gear 72a1 for reducing rotation speed of the crankshaft 8 is arranged in parallel with the crankshaft 8, and the rotation of the crankshaft 8 is transmitted to the output shaft 71 via the intermediate shaft 72.
