The invention relates to a weatherstrip (10a, 10b) for sealing a moving window pane (11a, 11b) in a door (12a, 12b) of a motor vehicle. The weather strip (10a, 10b) comprises a base body (18) made of an elastic material on which at least one sealing area (19a, 19b) and at least one fastening area (20) for attaching the weatherstrip (10a, 10b) to a door flange (21) are provided. The weatherstrip (10a, 10b) also comprises at least one trim part (22) that has a cover area (23) and a fastening element (24), which protrudes therefrom and which can be fixed to the base body (18) in a positive manner. The trim part (22) is curved in the longitudinal direction thereof. The fastening element (24) is provided in the form of an elongated insertion limb, which is oriented essentially perpendicular to the cover area (23). The fastening element (24) is additionally provided with at least one projection (25a, 25b). The base body (18) comprises a flexible reinforcing element (27) that reinforces the fastening area (23) in the area of the door flange (21). The base body (18) also comprises a slot-shaped accommodating channel (28), which extends along a limb of the reinforcing element (27), said limb running essentially parallel to the door flange (21), and which is provided with at least one recess (31a, 31b). The fastening element (24) is placed inside the accommodating channel (28), and the projection (25a, 25b) of the fastening element (24) engages in a positive manner inside the associated recess (31a, 31b) of the accommodating channel (28). |
