<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which can be opened easily without making a user feel a pain on his fingers even if the cap has a large outer diameter of 30 mm or more. <P>SOLUTION: A knurling 11 consisting of projecting stripes 12 are formed on the outer circumference of the cap 3A. Respective projecting stripes 12 have a section of scalene triangle, and are arranged consecutively along the circumference of the cap 3A. The angle θ of each projecting stripe 12 against the center of the cap circumference is set within 4-10° and the apex of each stripe 12 is arranged to be within an area covering 10 to 35% of the stripe from the front end of it with respect to a direction of screwing the cap 3A. As a result, a user has a good grip on the projecting stripes 12 of the knurling 11 by his or her fingers without feeling any pains on the fingers upon opening the cap 3A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
