<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NC program creation device for wire electrical discharge machining which creates directly a NC program for the wire electrical discharge machining from three-dimensional shape data. <P>SOLUTION: The NC program creation device for the wire electrical discharge machining comprises: a selection part 1 to select all processing surfaces to be processed by one processing with a wire electrical discharge machine from the three-dimensional shape data stored in a data base 2; a wire track point generation part 3 which computes an intersection line of the processing surface selected by the selection part 1 and a plane for calculation and generates a temporary track point of the upper and lower wires on the intersection line of these two lines and then associates the track point with a passing control point; a wire track point verification part 5 to verify properness of the track point of the wire obtained by the wire track point generation part 3; a program plane conversion part 6 for projecting the track point of the wire obtained by the wire track point verification part 5 on a program plane; and a post processor 7 for creating the NC program for the wire electrical discharge machining from the track point of the wire obtained by the program plane conversion part 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
