PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an opening/closing device capable of further promoting space saving by moving an opening/closing device body in a vertical direction by a simple and appropriate structure. SOLUTION: This device comprises a horizontally disposed base board member 12a; the opening/closing device body 10 disposed on one side of the base board member 12a at the top of the base board member 12a; a linking mechanism 21 for driving the opening/closing device body 10 disposed on the other side of the base board member 12a; a moving base 6 for moving the opening/closing device body 10 disposed at the base board member 12a; a bar-shaped driving member 3 which is disposed at the moving base 6 and extends in the vertical axial direction, and rotates with the vertical shaft as a center; and a driven member 2 which is screwed to the bar-shaped driving member 3 and is moved in the vertical direction by the rotation of the bar-shaped driving member 3.
