PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racing game such as a slot racing in which a traveling body travels along a fixed course, for eliminating complicatedness in returning from the course-out state, and developing interesting and various races depending on the skill of individual operators and the course status. SOLUTION: This game device includes: the traveling path provided with a traveling path guide; a traveling body locked while moving along the traveling path guide; and a means for controlling the traveling of the traveling body according to the input from the operator. The traveling body includes: a base part movably locked with the traveling path guide; a body part engaged with a revolving shaft mounted on the base part to revolve with the revolving shaft; and a revolution detection means for detecting the revolving degree of the body part around the revolving shaft. The traveling control means stops the traveling of the traveling body for designated time when deciding the occurrence of spin in the traveling body according to the detection result of the revolving detecting means.
