The arrangement has at least two compensation circuits (K1-Kn) for at least two reception lines and a switching arrangement (S1) configured together with the compensation circuits to select specific compensation signals for individual reception lines. Each compensation circuit has at least two adaptive filters for correlation of reception signals with specific compensation signals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a method of compensating cross-talk (b) and a DSL access multiplexer.
