The navigation system uses the mobile radio receiver (5) incorporated in a multi-media device (4) fitted in the automobile for reception of digital radio signals, fed to a navigation unit (1) with a navigation processor (2) and a memory (3). The navigation unit is coupled to a vehicle position evaluation device (12), a sensor device (13) and a communication unit (15). The user interface points (7,8,9,10,11) coupled to the multi-media device are controlled by an incorporated control device (16). |
