PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt length changing mechanism capable of adjusting a belt length with a simple operation. SOLUTION: This mechanism comprises a first belt 13, a first locking part 13b provided closer to the base end part of the first belt 13, a second locking part 13d provided at or closer to the tip part of the first belt with a space from the first locking part, a second belt 16 connected to the first belt, and a third locking part 20 provided on the second belt and having an opening for inserting the second locking part of the first belt. The third locking part comprises a valve element 22 for arresting the dropping-out of the second locking part inserted to the opening, and the second locking part is inserted to the opening of the third locking part, and then hooked with the valve element of the third locking part or engaged with the first locking part, whereby the length of the belt can be changed.
