<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image having a sharp particle size distribution and excellent in stability of a charged state and image characteristics over a long period of time. SOLUTION: At least a bonding resin and a colorant are dissolved and/or dispersed in a water-insoluble org. solvent to prepare a colored resin soln., this colored resin soln. is emulsified and dispersed in an aq. dispersing liq. contg. PVA having a polymn. degree of 60-450 and 45-98 mol.% saponification degree as a dispersion stabilizer and then the water-insoluble org. solvent is removed to produce the objective toner for developing an electrostatic latent image.</p> |
