SWITCHED COUPLER TYPE DIGITAL PHASE SHIFTER BY USING ORTHOGONAL SIGNAL GENERATOR

PURPOSE: A switched coupler type digital phase shifter by using an orthogonal signal generator is provided to improve the degree of integration of the multi-bit digital phase shifter. CONSTITUTION: A switched coupler type digital phase shifter by using an orthogonal signal generator includes a coupler(200), an orthogonal signal generator(210) and a switching device(220). The coupler(200) generates a first and a second signals having 180 degrees of phase difference from each other by receiving a single input signal. The orthogonal signal generator(210) generates a third to a sixth signals having 90 degrees of phase difference by receiving the first and the second signals outputted from the coupler(200). And, the switching device(220) selectively outputs anyone of the first to the sixth signals outputted from the orthogonal signal generator(210) in response to the control signal.
