STREET TREE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION EXTRACTING METHOD

PURPOSE: A street tree management information extracting method is provided to effectively obtain position information and video information of street trees and improve reliability of information about management of damages by blight and harmful insects. CONSTITUTION: A charge coupled device (CCD) camera(101) and an infrared ray (IR) camera(102) collect video information of street trees while a vehicle in which the cameras are set is moving. A GPS receiver(103) captures the position of the vehicle at the moment when the CCD camera captures a CCD image. An inertial measurement unit(104) decides the posture of the vehicle at the moment when the CCD camera captures the CCD image. A distant measuring instrument(106) provides calibration information for improving accuracy of the CCD camera and the IR camera. An image matching processor(205) matches the CCD image with the IR image. An image analysis processor(206) judges damages by blight and harmful insects using read of the CCD image and infrared ray. A three-dimensional street tree position extractor(209) extracts the three-dimensional position of street trees. A numerical map updating unit(207) analyzes collected video information to judge damages of the street trees and compares the judgement result with a street tree database to indicate the result on a numerical map.
