PURPOSE: A floor console armrest device for a vehicle is provided to offer convenience to a passenger by controlling the position of an armrest according to the sliding of a seat or the incline of a seat back. CONSTITUTION: Hinge pins(3,3') are slidably inserted into rails(2,2') installed at both sides of the rear of a console body(1). An armrest supports the rear of the hinge pins. A ratchet plate(7) is fixed to one hinge pin(3), and includes an arc surface, a ratchet, and a protrusion(10) parallel to the hinge pin. A guide(11) includes an arc-shaped guide surface, and a slot(13) into which the protrusion is inserted. A pawl(14) is supported by a spring(16), and contacts with the ratchet, the arc surface, and the arc-shaped guide surface.
