There is disclosed a sleeve bearing having a wick lubricating method capable of decreasing cost by preliminary assembling of the sleeve bearing having a necessary wick and also securing supply of lubricant to a radial bearing and thrust bearing by means of wick. The sleeve beating 6 includes a tubular radial bearing 7 accommodating a shaft 13, and also includes a collar 8. The wick 23 is arranged in the collar 8, and lubricant is fed to the radial bearing 7 from a lubricant- storing portion by means of the wick.
