PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor of which the elastic body can be inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: The circular annular shaped and flat plate shaped elastic body 71 is disposed on a back face side of a substrate 65 of a movable scroll member 45 within a housing 11. The elastic body 71 is fixed within the housing 11 so that the sliding region may be slidably abutted on the back face side of the substrate 65 of the movable scroll member 45. A permissible space for permitting elastic deformation of the elastic body 71 is formed between the elastic body 71 and an opposed wall 64b provided on an opposite side of the movable scroll member 45 relative to the elastic body 71. The elastic body 71 is elastically deformed to the opposed wall 64b side by press-contact of the movable scroll member 45, and thereby the movable scroll member 45 is energized toward a fixed scroll member 41.
