PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, not requiring a game player to stand up in opening a front panel. SOLUTION: The game machine 10 includes a connecting mechanism 30 connecting the front panel 20 to an enclosure 11 so that the front panel 20 can be moved between the installation state and the retreat state.The connecting mechanism 30 is formed to always hold the front panel 20 substantially in parallel on the front face 14 of the enclosure 11, and always keep the distance between the front panel 20 and the front face 14 of the enclosure 11 shorter than the width of the front panel 20. The connecting mechanism 30 is formed to move the front panel 20 in the direction substantially vertical to the front face 14 of the enclosure 11 until the front panel 20 is separated from the installation state at a designated distance. The game machine 10 includes an elevating mechanism 50 for moving the connecting mechanism 30 and the front panel 21 in the direction of height of the enclosure 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
