PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint sealing auxiliary tool capable of positively sealing a joint while enhancing the efficiency of joint sealing work. SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool body 2 of the joint sealing auxiliary tool 1 is provided with an upper face 3 and a pair of side plates 6, 7 extending downward from both ends of the upper face 3 and can be put on curbstone blocks 10 to cover a clearance 11 formed between the adjacent curbstone blocks 10. The upper face 3 of the auxiliary tool body 2 is formed with a slit-like joint material throw-in port 5 in an overlap position with an upper opening 111 of the clearance 11 in a state of putting the auxiliary tool body 2 on the curbstone blocks 10.
