PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability by enabling an operation of feeding and discharging of papers, and replacement of an ink tank and a recording head from a device front face in a printer with a flat enclosure upper face, and to suppress a pressure loss between the ink tank and the recording head. SOLUTION: A paper feed cassette 50 and a paper discharge cassette 61 are arranged drawably in an axial direction of an almost arc of a U-turn path. A front face of the paper discharge cassette 61 is constituted of a transparent window to make the inside seen through. The ink tank and the recording head 11 are arranged in parallel to each other seen from the front. The paper discharge cassette 61 is locked during a paper discharge. A warning is issued after the end of printing, and then the paper discharge cassette 61 is pushed out automatically. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
