PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a lifetime of an organic EL panel wherein an organic EL element in which a light-emitting layer is pinched between a first electrode and a second electrode is formed on a substrate. SOLUTION: In order to provide the organic EL panel having a long lifetime, the organic EL element which has at least the first electrode, the light-emitting layer 16c, and the second electrode is formed on the substrate to prepare the organic EL panel. The light-emitting layer 16c has a host material and a first dopant. A life-time improving layer 16e has the host material and a second dopant between the first electrode and the light-emitting layer 16c. On the front face of the substrate 12, an optical filter to absorb light of a longer wave length than a prescribed value is provided.
