PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transmit picture data of a portable telephone set with camera. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set with camera 2 is provided with a picture conversion condition storage part by destination 17, which stores a picture conversion condition at every destination to which data is transmitted. When a picture is transmitted to an outer part, the picture conversion condition corresponding to the destination is read from the picture conversion condition storage part by destination 17. A conversion processing is performed on transmitted picture data based on the picture conversion condition which is read by an operation part 15. Converted picture data is temporarily stored in a picture memory 13 and it is transmitted to an outer unit through a communication part 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
